Our supports

ExCellness Biotech SA was incorporated in 2009 as a spin-off project from the EPFL (former names: HelvaLab and Cellness) and maintains close contact with the EPFL research facilities. ExCellness has been awarded the CTI Startup label in 2009 and has won the first two phases of VentureKick. The team was among the winners of the McKinsey&Company/ETH Venture08 competition (best 10 business cases and best 6 business plans), winner of the 'Prix d'Entrepreneuriat de la Région de Lausanne'' (PERL), and finalist of the devigier competition.

Our Research

ExCellness is industrial partner of the Tissue Transmigration Training Network, a Marie-Curie Network for Initial Training (ITN) of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Communities. ExCellness research projects performed in collaboration with the EPFL are further funded by the Gebert Rüf Stifung.
